Had the car up on ramps playing with the exhaust and noticed a small area of the floor underneath in the rear of the passenger footwell which has had the outer covering/seal smashed off and the area is now pliable ie I can push it upwards using my fingers (it acts as though the fibreglass has gone soft).Obviously I havent tried to push it too hard as I don't want to form a hole.
Hving never repaired fibreglass I am reluctant to just start plastering layers of fibreglass matting over it, has anyone ovecome a similar problems, if so any tips or recommended products????? The area is about 1.5" square and the damage seems to be from the outside as there is little evidence of it inside the car
