Will it fit? 245/45/16 tyre on 16" spiders?

Time for some new tyres? I currently have 225/55/16 on my back spider wheels, they are 7.5Js. I was thinking about fitting some 245/45/16 get a bit more grip. Will the 245s fit or are they too wide for the width of the wheel?

245/45/16 was the standard size rear for 4.2 Cerbs running the original 16" OZ wheel, these were 7.5 wide also so assume it would be fine on a 16" spider also.

I have 245/45/16 on my SEAC, but they are a comfortable fit on 16 x 9 wheels.

The later Griff 500's also run 245/45/16 tyres on the rear on 7.5J rims so you will be fine !

I have 245/45 x16 on my 7.5J rear wheels they fit fine. someone did suggest that technically they are slightly too wide, buy they are fine as far as I am concerned! Grip is good so is the handling.
