help cant get out !

could any of you kind gentelmen help me out? i went on a shopping trip with the missis parkd up ...both doors would'nt open,no problem i thought pulled the door relese...doh came off in my hand
having both got out of the passenger side checked the boot and this to didnt open,fuse i thought so i stayed in the car while she went shopping ,after about 20 mins i started the car out of boerdom rearly...and suprise everthing working again...any thoughts ?
Maybe an issue with the conttrol box. IIRC there is a safety built in so the buttons don't work when the car is moving over 5mph or something like that. The box maybe 'thought' the car was moving.
If its not been done recently I'd put a trickle charge through the battery to make sure its topped up.
When my battery was very near to flat oa few strange things happened - windows not knowing where they were, Laptop dropping out trying to communicate with the ECU etc After a 2 day and 2 night charge! everything was OK (until I was a silly prat and forgot to disconnect the battery before removing the door card and popping the connector. Now the window goes down to somewhere just north of Syndney before the door opens - doh)
Disconnecting the control box for a couple of minutes often clears problems but make note of what goes where first. One or two people have blown control units connecting the plugs back incorrectly.
Updated cos I read yur post wrong - pasenger door must have opened so not obviously a control box issue.
Maybe a corroded connector in the door? They can get very wet. Door card off to get to it which isn't too difficult but don't be a prat like I was - disconnect the battery first.
Write out 100 times
I must disconnect the battery before disconnecting and wiring.
