I have a 2003 E46 M3 in carbon black which I bought from a dealer about 3 months ago. It had been treated with diamondbrite before I got the car but I was never satisfied with the finish; you could see all the swirl marks and so forth (especialy in direct sunlight)and the paint looked dull and lifeless.

Just had it treated to a Zymol treatment from Parc Ferme and the difference is incredible. Best few hundred quid have spent on a car for ages; looks fantastic now.

For info; after washing it they went over whole car with clay bar, then used Zymol HD Cleanse and then applied coat of Zymol Concours. Whole thing took about 6 hours. Am not necessarily plugging Zymol (I'm sure there are other perfectly good products out there) more the service I received.

So is this what they do after a race or something? The cars only go into Parc Ferme to be polished up? (Before being weighed I suppose?)

Can't quite see what this has to do with the usual contents of posts in "General Motorsport" ...

General Gassing, maybe, or the Pie and Piston would be more in keeping. Maybe.
