did tvrs use aftermarket pistons rather than rover and if so what make where they?

It all depends on what size engine your talking about, to the best of my knowledge 4 litres use std lr pistons (with valve pockets machined in for HC's) as do the 450's but the later 500 is tvr's own piston made by AE. The early ones were a modded lr piston.
