Newbie Seriously considering Cerbera

Hi guys, im seriously considering venturing into the world of TVR's and have been drawn to the Cerbera partly because of the rear seats and i have two youngsters. Is there a buyers guide with different model specs etc and what to look out for?
Ive had a bit of a search around on this forum already and there is some great info about. Why are the chassis's so prone to rusting?
Which would be the better car, the 4.2 or the 4.5?

Both the 4.2 and 4.5 are good cars, sorry, Great cars! Very little seperates them performance wise in standard form. 4.2 has a more 'revvy' engine, 4.5 is torquier and 'feels' like a heavier car (although it isnt) and has more potential for tuning - if thats the way you want to go.

Chassis is prone to rusting if not looked after as it is a powder coated mild steel tubular chassis, and the powder coating flakes off exposing the metal.

Buy on condition, history, and 'feel', and don't let your opiion get swayed just because its the 'right' colour. Look at a few, as they are all different.

Thanks for that, would it be worthwhile having the chassis undersealed inside and out?
What is the difference with the front lights? some have one large round light and others have 3 smaller lights. Is this a model difference thing or can the large round light just be swapped out to the smaller ones as an upgrade?
Are these cars any good on the twisties or are they mainly a straight line car?

But Single large rounds can be upgraded, if you prefer it. I don't, but horses for courses.
