I'll give it another go at posting then...........

Spent today at Bedford Autodrome. Had a truly brilliant day. Paddock packed with Elises exiges and VxX's. Only one noble and 2 csl's and a couple of porkers. Unusual as there is normally a good mix.

Washy had his new toy there and once he got to grips with it, I think I can say he loved it!!

He followed me for a few laps and I kept looking in the rear view mirror after exiting a corner to see him exicuting perfect 4 wheel drifts in a Tiff Nedell stylee! Very impressive motor.

Those who have been chatting with me over the last few month will know that I have been umming and arring about selling the Noble and getting a cheaper to run and more kart like toy like a VXT or Exige.

Well I went out in both today and whilst I liked them and they were both very well driven (if a bit irratically) a can now announce that I will be keepimg my Noble.

There is nothing I have been in (bar Dans GT3) that I think is more chuckable or fun. I think with Nitrons and corsa's (or 048's) and a few other mods (in the pipeline ) The car will be the most fun available on track for me and my budget.

I shot some video from Washys bootlid looking back at me and will try to edit and post it soon.

Really sorry Neil that the batteries ran out on your turn on film. cry

Neil, if you e-mail me a pair of your fave pics from today, I'd like to pop them up.

Good to see you again mate. Glad you're loving the new toy too. thumbup

Greg

ps. Neil, I've still got a BMW suit jacket carrier from my old 330ci if you're interested. hehe

Got any pics of that Simon? Do you race it or just do trackdays in it?

I have also been thinking about getting into a bit of karting. Got a few tracks near me in Cambridge and it does look like cheap (er) fun.

I was looking at the new Rotax kart with 2 gears.

you will get some big grids and some close racing with the max its is very popular
the engines have to be rebuilt and sealed by a nominated source apart from that its not to expensive

Brilliant day! Yep, loving the CSL. I've got a couple of photos which just happen to have you in the passenger seat too. Shame you didn't get a ride out once I'd got the hang of driving the thing and sliding out of the hairpins. Would've been nice to see the video of me but never mind, there will be a next time.

Good report Greg

Washy, how is it going with the car in general? Drop me a mail if you don't want to dilute this forum with non Noble stuff.

Wasn't talking about you Williams! Just concerned that we dilute this forum with csl and gt3 speak.

Cheers

Was it the noise meter before the right hander before the pit entrance?

Greg YHM. Just the one pic specially chosen so everyone can admire the visor on your lid!

Nathan, it's brilliant. Really loved it. All AP'd up now too.

Sometimes I think it's a shame that they photo cars in isolation. It can be fun if you get other traffic in a shot too.

4 in all, left side after exit turn one, then all the way to the end of second part of the back straight, round hairpin start turning right up the hill and it's on the right. Then up hill back straight and it's midway on the right.Last one midway on the long home straight, left side I think.

Please destroy all!!!
