I have pulled a muscle in the top of my leg while I was asleep and aggrivated an old football injury. This means I cant walk without serious pain.

Anyone got any tips to get rid of it?

Have you tried rubbing in some Deep Heat?? I find that always works with pulled muscles.

lol its ok.. I fully expected it when describing a pulled muscle at the top of my leg.. its a reputation I have

I think I might have a bath to see if it makes it less painful.

Sorry Dude, but how could we resist ??

Seriously, though, go see a physio.
Deep heat helps (don't get it on anything, er, sensitive). Take a hot bath and stretch the muscle slowly when warm - it might help.

I STRAINED a muscle at the top of my leg ages ago (adduductor or abductor or sumfink - the ones that keep a good girl's knees together). Still plays up but a warm stretch out helps.

Loads of Deep heat and gentle excercise

seriously - I pulled/strained muscle in my leg on Sat playing football and was in agony yesterday morning, Mrs m liberally applied Deep Heat and dragged me round the shops

It feels a lot better today - There is a funny smell following me around the office though

Where on your leg - front, outside, rear or inside, and how high up - pelvis, hip or thigh.

If it is a pulled muscle ice or deep heat will probably help, but it may well not be - it's hard to pull muscles when you're inactive.
