Sharing and comparing dyno charts

Just noticed that none of these lovely tuned AJP8 dyno charts are on www.dyno-plot.co.uk. This site is very useful for comparing a few charts side by side. This is useful for seeing what difference an upgrade might make, or comparing your engine to standard. Any one care to add a few? I'll dig out my original 350bhp, and 400bhp red rose one tonight.

Anyway, I hope you see what I mean - it makes comparison fantastically easy, and with another 10 or so up there of various mods from standard, gives you a good idea of what you get for your money. Probably good to get a few more standard cars up there - the usual 4.5 variation is 330 to 350ish bhp.

Standard vs Red Rose

As you can see, huge gains in the mid to top end with no loss of bottom end. What you'd expect since no cam change, and just improved flow from porting. Might have expected some more bottom end from the increased compression... or maybe TVR didn't actually increase it. Anyway - I miss that car!

Come on Joolz! Put some up - especially interested to see the Emerald as only mod.

Err - yes!

Did you enter torque as bhp or no calibrate or something? You can re enter your graph data by clicking on the little edit icon by the selection box.

Awesome. You want some new cams and lots of porting there to move it all up the revs a bit! Or you just want grunty reliability?

Grunt and reliable, it's quick enough, more revs means more stress The graph is showing slightly higher bhp, i think its the calibration at the start that i can't get right.

I'd love to see more graphs up there .. I don't feel ok with posting my customer's graphs without asking them, but if any of my customers want to put their own graphs up I'm all for it.

What's the rationale behind not putting your customer graphs up there? Isn't it a good way of advertising your work - certainly my Duratec engine builder posts them all up (search for RaceCo)?

Oops- better digitised than mine now! Still shows the same AJP8 characteristic hump at 3500, just much less noticeable.

Wow this is clever, have added my 4.2 for comparison. Used my best run from Feb rather than my latest which showed that it needs a service

Wow - that's a lot of torque and power for a 4.2! How has it been tuned? Who was the dyno owner? Mine and Paul's where both Noble motorsport I guess.

On the bottom section, check the boxes for ones you're interested in, then click "Compare on a new graph" or "Compare with existing selection". In the initial search, try "Cerbera". Done quite well considering as there were none yesterday!

yeah i clicked on the compar button but all it does is refresh the page with the other graph there that i chose, it doesn't overlay graphs on top of each other
