where i can purchase a rear backlit TVR Griffith number plate holder?

Am I correct in saying these light up on their own, rather than the need to have a light shining on the number plate from somewhere under the boot plynth. It's for a modified tailgate, that has no lighting on it.

It's actually a translucent number plate that has a couple of normal number plate lamps set about 20mm away from the back of it in a recess so it appears backlit, if your just after a translucent plate try Automarque on 01474 535927 they're about £11 plus p&p

...but watch out at MoT time as these plates are now illegal, I beleieve. (depends on the age of the car - my 97 Chimp has one)
