With all the recent wet and dry weather had the opportunity to test this stuff out and I have to say it works brilliantly. Tried it out on my other car and did the usual TV advertising type test; smeared it onto the drivers side of the windscreen and not on the passengers side and during a torrential downpour could see nothing out of the passengers side but could drive comfortably at 30 mph with no windscreen wipers on. Perfect for those of us who run into trouble with wipers. The only down side seems to be that it has to applied to a dry window, which is fine if you know your windscreen wipers are going to stop working and the rain is about to fall.

I have a similar product from Wynns - also allows my pathetic wipers to actually make it all the way across the screen when not so wet!! Ace stuff indeed! (does wear off with wiper use but lasts a while)

we use it on the race car and its very effective, so much so that i use it on my road cars as well..

you do need to apply it when the screen and the weather is dry though. on a couple of occasions i've forgotten to do it before a race, got there and the weather is damp. applied it in the awning and as the air is humid it doesnt work as well.

I find Rain-X to be pretty good on the outside of the windscreen.

I use Stoner's "invisible glass" as well, which does a fantastic job cleaning the glass beforehand. (It's probably the same ammonia as you can buy from the chemist, but it comes in a fancy spray bottle) remember to use newspaper to apply it.

Do people have any tips on something for the inside of the glass? I've tried Fog-X as well- didn't seem to help at all.

Agree totally with the comments on RainX, but when I bought mine it came with a free bottle of their glass cleaner. Tried it out and now I think I know why they were giving it away.
It smeared the windscreen and was the devil of a job to get rid of.
Anyone else tried it with similar experience? Just thought I would ask in case I was doing something wrong, but I did follow the instructions.
