changing a can

Sorry if this is a daft one, but Iam new to all of this.

Iam looking to change the can on my zx9r. However all the cans I seem to see are just that, the can, but my can being the origianl is fixed to the pipe and it appears that I need to take of some of the pipe as well.

Is this right?? Or is there a way of changing just the can that I cant figure out.

Contact the replacement can manufacturer direct - they will be able to tell you exactly what you need.

you either undo 4 bolts and the can comes off or you get a slip on pipe that un does near the back brake and uses a clamp type fitting i've just changed to a noisy pipe on my
ZX12R its a piece of p.ss m8
