Does anyone know a good place to get a par of 944 turbo linen leather sports seats re-trimmed or repaired? they are quite shabby, cracked, soiled and worn on the bolsters.
any suggestions (ideally in midlands but anyone good would be helpful) thanks

Custom classic Retro

Loughborough

01509 558616

spoke to him at a vw show a while ago, seemed to know his stuff, he quoted me £750 to do front and back, full leather not just leather faced, and any leather left over used on door cards etc, price was for 2 hides.

Only trouble is I'm not sure he has the perforated leather for the centre panels, I didn't see any samples with perf leather.

Agree - they did mine, very pleased.

Have some pics if interested, though only after. No connection/affiliation or other just very happy.

These are the guys that did mine. came in at just over £200. like I say seats look great been recomended on PH a few times.
Not sure if they will last as long as a complete re trim but I imagine its quite a bit cheaper

Hope it's not too nosey...but how much for retrimming the front seats?

Umm, not sure precisely but think its fixed price - maybe about £1200-ish from memory.

I had more than that done - front and rear seats, centre console and handbrake in leather, new drivers seat cushion for about £2k all in.

thanks for the contacts guys. id been recommended southbound by a friend, spoke to them and they use genuine porsche OEM leather but are quite expensive (c.£1000 to re trim pair of front seats in linen leather). I would like to improve the seats alot but was hoping not to spend that kind of cash so may talk to a couple of the other contacts about re spraying/connolising etc. Thanks again for the info

Pesty, how long did they need the car for to do the respray at warrington? hopefully that might do the trick, although the seats are quite cracked/worn. i will speak to them and also maybe to my local specialists to see if they have any suggestions.

They generaly want them over night for the die to set. My seats were quite badly cracked as well. Sorry didnt take any before pictures.
I dont expect them to last as long as a full retrim but weighing up the cost difference is why I plumped for the re conolising. £200 vs £1000 happy so far

They did a leather repair for me today on my 997.My leather is terracotta and not an easy colour to match but the job was excellent, the service friendly and the price very very reasonable.I have no hesitation in recommending them-they have been in the job over 20 years and really know their stuff
