I need to change all corners on my 996 C4S - I've always used Continentals (as always replaced like for like since new and never needed all 4...) I don't track the car, just 'quick' road use - anyone have any views on the best current choice of tyre, Pirelli PZero Rosso, Michelin, Continental etc etc?

Thanks!

I'd go for Michelin Pilot Sports. The PZ Rossos are cr@p (have them on my 996 C4 at the mo). Sidewalls aren't stiff enough in my opinion and there's too much tyre 'squirm' when driving fast.

Michelin Pilot Sport or Bridgestone SO-2A's, this has been the part of the car I most researched and tested about as a crappy tyre can mess up the 911's entire handling.

I use SO2As on my 996 4S and can report no problems with them.

let me know what Bracknell tyres charge to change all four. I'll need to change mine too within the next month or so.

Give Dave Blackley at Elite (01403 756530) a call - they are approved distis for Pirelli / Toyo.. im sure he'll be able to sort you out a good price as he looks after us 'Titanic GT3' lot.
