Front Rubber Spring Seats

Could anyone please let me know what car and model these rubber spring seats are off. They are the ones that fit on the lower wishbone and the spring fits (or should do if they weren't split and rotted).The car is a 1990 400SE.
-Tried a search, but couldn't find the right info.
The only clue I have is that it is some sort of Ford bit. I have spoken to TVR car parts and thsy aren't sure which model of Granada? they came from and I want to make sure before I start to cruise the Scrap Yards...

The front wishbones are apparently Cortina Mk 4/5, so my guess would be that the rubber spring mounts are the same. Granada Mk2 spring mounts may also be compatible. I would imagine that during the time of the Cortina and Granada, Ford will have used many common parts between models.

May be a starting point.

They are not available anymore. And are Cortina back-spring seats. On the Cortina nothing was used at the front, and ... knows why TVR did. So perhaps you can get away with not using them at all... And otherwise contact people that build Tasmin racers, perhaps still a few seats around, or they can help you with their non-rubber solution.

Mk 3/4/5 ... doesn't help much though as they're still near on impossible. See other thread, AM400 found a pair in Portugal. Cortinas were even sold in Australia.

I may be a million miles away with this one, but I seem to recall reading in Practical Classics, when they were running a feature on interchangeable parts, that one of the early Daewoos had Cortina running gear!

Not sure I have ever seen a Daewoo forum to check with!!!!

I read in the Scum last night that there are only 2000 Cortinas left in existance. This must be less that wedges - or if not, at that attrition rate it will be soon.

Also - there are only 700 Marinas left! (Don't all cheer at once)

I have found a source for Cortina spring seats and will update when I check that they fit - can anyone confirm whether they are mk3,4 or 5!

I think you will find that it is a hyundai stella,what a machine!
