Guys,

anyone with a car and trailer willing to do me a favour? Now I have ordered my new engine from John Eales I need to get my car down to TowerView from Herts around the 2nd week in March. Any offers for assistance in return for a few beers/petrol/£ ??

If all else fails then i can recommend Lanterns recovery (potters bar). Last week they took my Chim from Herts down to David Battys place near Guildford all for a reasonable £135 and totally hassle free.

Yup - used them before through forced circumstances when the car broke down on the A1 6 years ago....Only time it has ever broken down (unless you count the engine going bang twice and the power-steering hose once) !!

I'm trying to avoid using a recovery firm as they will charge that sort of money even if it's only 22miles. - I'll get a quote anyway and see what they say.

Still open to offers of assistance though :-)
