I seem to recall there was a recommended insurer flashing its logo on here a month or so ago.

Any ideas as my insurance is up and I thought I'd phone around?

Probably A-Plan, I'm with them and saved quite a bit (with free European cover).

Thanks chaps. I'll try A Plan. Must say though that Hagerty have just given me a quote of £245.00 Fully Comp for my wife as main driver and me as named - max 5K miles pa.

Its also well worth giving Tesco a buzz, i tried about 10 different insurers from TVR specialists to other very well known companies and Tesco undercut all of them by a HUGE £400..?!
