O.K. what is the best (favourite) colour for an "S"

Brooklands Green and Mica Red seem popular.

Are these the best colours for resale value.

Personally I love Mica Red, Mica Blue and BRG.

Although I now have a moonstone blue one ! and Im quite pleased with it, I haven't seen any others in this colour!

I think most people will tell you, quite rightly, that the condition is the most important thing, getting it in the right colour is a bonus.
Saying that, when I was looking, to prevent me getting one in the 'wrong' colour, i.e. looking at a stonking good car that apart from the colour was perfect I avoided even going to view any 'flat' red or white cars, but that's me .
I hope that makes the decission easier for you .

Possibly.. Personally went for a dark grey one as 1 - I really liked it, just felt right and 2 - saw a couple of red ones that had been bought by numpties that don't really unbderstand what they are all about and hadn't taken care of them..

I wouldn't have paid more for a particular colour myself, but I guess its possible that others would..

i think certain colours suit certain cars.i have a white s2 which i think suits the stying of the car, some of the popular sports cars colours i dont really like on the s2, its personal choice really!! just go with what you like

I deliberately went for a white S2 as you can't see the GRP layers in the reflected light.

I love S's in cooper green but bought a monza red one in the end. Bit of a cliche for a sports car but its a lovely colour.

I went looking for a Mica Blue one with a tan interior... I bought a Mica Red one with a grey interior...

At the time of purchase it was the one that met the majority of my criteria...

I wanted any colour except Mica Blue!
Went for a test drive in one that just happened to be Mica Blue. Fell in love with it and bought it.

Midnight Blue for me, turns purple in the right light...got the whole car cheaper than a reflex paint job

thats what I went looking for too and ended up with a grey one with grey leather

there arent enough good ones around to be too picky but the grey was a close second when I was looking anyway - there just didnt seem to be many around so I concentrated on the blue!

The worst colour combination I've seen has got to be Honeysuckle (that's seriously BEIGE ) with a chocolate brown interior.

It was to be blue or green for me and definitely NOT red. I ended up with a Mica Red S3 and love it to bits.

That must be the milky custard yellow one I saw for sale in Hawthorn's 4 years ago. Agreed Roy, it was revolting. There couldn't possibly be two that colour! Rich...

How light a blue are we talking here?
My S2 is a sort of greyish mid blue called starlight blue. Personally I think its the canine plums!

Roy - only said tongue in cheek when Matt suggested dark blue was the best colour! Check out his profile and you will see his replacement for the S (a light blue Chim) also in the picture!
