I have one, a BMW R1200GS.

The VAT on a new bike or ex-demo is recoverable in many situations.

I'm sure Eric will be along shortly to advise you on the BIK position.

Bikes are 100% tax allowable on business.
Treat it like buying a van (claim VAT back etc) but you can use for private milage without paying tax.
This also means leathers, helmet, riding courses (advanced/track) are buisness expenses.

Dont tell anyone or spread the world or the gready people will burst our bubble.
