Petrol Gauge!

4.0 Precat Griffith:-

Just had sender unit resealed into the petrol tank, (leaking around seal)The only problem now is the Petrol gauge needle Is in the middle of the gauge -when the tank is full of fuel. & goes to full when nearly empty. Do you think the garage has fitted the sender upside down. The petrol gauge was working correctly before removal!!

Logic tells me yes - but maybe it can be fixed by switching the terminals round?

NB: I have no idea actually!
