Its a very early 4.2 with only 5000 odd miles.

As far as I am aware, theres a tonne load of things to go wrong with a car at that mileage from that year.... so yeah, its a good price, but theres bound to be huge hidden costs as you get closer to 12000.... (not personally a 4.2 owner but I do recall what other same year 4.2 owners went through over the years)

get a 4.2 with more miles from a Pistonheads owner which has been looked after by reputable indies or a 4.5... prices seem to be at an all time low... so 15k should help pick up some great gems....

Some people say the more miles, the more realiable it becomes, as you've had the problems and sorted them.

That one seems to have dropped a nice bit in price sinc the first ad went up.

I looked at it and looked away again when it was at the higher price.

I Just sold a good sorted 1997 4.2 for just over £12k. so I wouldnt say this was cheap at all !!
