Hope its on Sale or Return!! Also I see finance is available. Can you tell me how much per week it will cost with a £1000 deposit.

PLUS-CAN YOU STOP SELLING CAYANNES! They are just too stupid/ugly to adorn your lovely showroom

Was being dragged round one of those expensive kitchen utensil shops in a twee Cotswold town recently and came across a cheese grater that looked just like that!..........or it might have been a lemon squeezer.

325k... Ouch.

Straight Eight (down the road from me) are selling two SLRs at the moment. Both are Silver LHD models. One with 2k miles for 269k and one with 9k for 239k.

Makes this one a bit expensive...!! Not that it makes any difference to my world..

PS - They also have a black Tip LHD 997TT on for 104k.

Prices for these things are all over the place.
A new one is £335,000 though.

I dont think any garage buys one of these. They are probably all SOR.

Did you really think that this is best drive of your life???

Drove one at goodwood a coiple of months ago. Amazing car but everything felt a little bit too easy. No real sensation of speed despite lapping goodwood quicker than any other road car I have driven there.
Maybe be fantastic GT but would take a Carrera GT over it any day.

If you spray paint it matt black , I'll don my kids Batman costume,
and at that price I'll feel like you're Robin me.

Not in terms of sheer capability as i think on the road nothing touches a 996 turbo from A to B.
I was too scared to throw this SLR around like a 996 TT.
But the experience is just mind boggling to be driving a car worth a third of a million pounds !
The acceleration is fierce like a 996 gt2 or murciealago.
The sound is like nothing ever.Better than the vanquish.Better than an SL55 AMG.
But,its massive and you will never race anyone meaningfully like you could in a Porsche turbo.
I've raced lambos in 996 turbos and the drivers lost gumption much quicker than i did.In this,i'd lose it first.
But i cant afford to crash an SLR.
If i could, and most owners probably can afford to,i'd get a lot more out of it.
As Andy says, the whole thing felt a bit remote but amazing.
Carbon brakes are very tricky to master.

Test drives are booked up well into December !!!

Hmm, still think it looks like a cheap old SLK with 'Max Power-magazine-esque" styling.

Might be great but 320k+ for a tarted up Merc.... Come on...!!

For the same money you could probably get yourself a SL65 AMG if you desperately wanted a Merc and throw in a Carrera GT !!!

I have to agree with you, does nothing for me either. Zonda or C GT over the Merc anytime.
