Just noticed this in My Contributions. What does it do to the thread, just stop you seeing new posts or the entire thread?

It just removes it from your "My Stuff/My contributions" list. So if you replied to a thread but don't want to see it listed on that page you can remove it.

Excellent - also useful would be a "subscribe to" without having to post - or is it there already and I have missed it? paperbag

Nope, don't think there is. That is a good idea though. yes

Oh, you can just bookmark it. But a 'subscribe to' sounds like a better idea to me.

Bookmarks would do it but I can see your point.

I use 'bookmark' as a library-function, full of interesting topics, or my own stuff.

I subscribe by simply posting a smiley or a line to announce I'm interested and looking forward to pics. Tunnel Runs, meetings, etc.

Think I accidentally broke that ignore function. Just reinstating it now.

Pressing the ignore button, does nothing in my browser, I can still see the topic??

Likewise, pressing the watch button does not make anything look any different confused

Just fixing the ignore now.

The watch button will add a thread that you've not participated in to your 'My Topics' page.

It adds it to the topics/replies page, but not the 'my topics' page... or did you mean the former?
