I bought my Monaro some months ago and have been searching for a forum like this. Thanks to BO55VXR I've found it! My car is a black VXR serial number 009, bought it from Greens and I just can't stop smiling when I'm driving it. I understand that it has a bit of history, as it is now on its second engine! Does anyone have any knowledge of it? Apparently she was supercharged late last year. Thanks.

Tell us more about the Supercharger please!!! Yes BO55, wrote 2 off and the last one got nicked! The car has a Harrop!? twin screw!? supercharger, I've got invoices totalling around £15k of engine work, Greens reckoned she was good for around 550bhp. i'm not saying that she has, but blimey, she's quick! Rip shift gearbox, tons of Wortec stuff (whatever that is!), noisy but stunning exhaust. The only mod I had done was having the new bull nose bonnet put on, I much prefer the look.
Mmmmm... That's interesting as Wortec have only just released all the stuff.

I was told it was 5.7 but the log book show 5.9 ? As far as the mods are concerned, Greens had people over from Oz to sort out the original supercharger and I ended up buying the car with a brand new engine and supercharger! I could be talking complete b****x but that was what I was told.

Yep moved in few weeks back, will have a V8 owners meet here in Oct, was going to sort something for the 7 Oct but forgot that the Holden Owners Club usually invite us to the Ace!! Will look at another date. Would be good to see you you at the new place if you are passing.

Is definately a VXR, you may have been in Kev's (Tiler). His is S/C but is not a VXR in black.
