thnaks guys. looking foward to it. I was told to wear books ( no metal toes) to strone shoes. they said trainers would be Ok if I did not have anything. Will my old Cats be Ok for the job or not really.

suggestions on footware. I want to get nice boots once I get a bike but not yet

Heya mate, good luck with the test!

Your CAT boots will probably be ok though not sure how weather proof they'll be. So long as they're sturdy I don't see you getting refused the CBT for them.

As for kit, I've taken the opinion that I'm gonna need it all anyway so I'm piecing it together as I'm training. I got a nice set of Sidi boots whih I've already thoroughly weather tested and my feet stayed warm and dry.

p.s. don't worry about ballsing stuff up, you're gonna love it!

My CBT guy said work boots (I'm guessing Cats will fall into this) are fine.
As for suggestions for footwear - what kind of bike are you planning to get? I personally think racing SIDIs look a bit silly on a naked bike, hence I've got some big black leather jobs from Hein Gericke.
