I need to upgrade JAVA, as I currently have version (02) and I need (06). However, when I try to download the upgrade, the pc says that I am unauthorised to do this.

Does anyone know how to unlock my pc to get around this?

Many thanks for any help,

Nick.

Probably need to logout of that user account and login as Administrator or an Admin account.
If you've got the password (or don't belive a password was set) and your running XP, when you get to the 'choose user' screen try pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL twice, it should bring up the old style login box and let you go in as Admin.
Win2k just type Administrator in the login box and you should be away.
