FLASHING!

At least every other day for the past week cars have been flashing me. Tonight I was flashed and the guy pointed to the front of my griff 500 when I was travelling at about 30mph. I have checked the lights, underside, wheels (all nuts are tight) looked in the engine bay nothing looks out of the ordinary, the exhaust is OK.... so why am I being flashed, any ideas of the non rude variety!

I drove past my wife twice but she didn't see anything .. although she isn't the sort of person who knows cars at all

It must be something caused bt the movement...?

as she passed her test 3 months ago its a definate no .. she admits to not being a "natural" driver!

could they been observing the driver, not the car, do you have green hair, 2 heads, or one eye in the middle of your forehead?

I get a few cars flash me the reasons being......

1... Other owners not in their Tivs

2... To attract my attention so when sitting at atraffic lights to ask me to rev the enegine

3... To warn of speed traps I'm approaching at warp speed

4... (this was the most usefull of all) .... hurtling at MACH3 down the motorway and a car I had passed moments before started flashing his lights in a fury, concerned I slowed down, to observe in the distance behind me Bibs car blues on, and yep when they caught up with me pulled me over no mention of speed thankfully, just my issue with number plates. So a big to that car that flashed me you probably saved my liecence

Thanks for all your comments even the two headed ones! However I still don't get it as the last driver pointed to the front of my car. Now I do have a very small bonnet reg sticker so they may think my plate has dropped of or something ... at a loss

I've had people flashing and pointing while in traffic during a heavy down pour when the rain water runs down the bonnet and onto the hot bits producing a torrent of steam making it look like the cars overheating. Not likely to be the reason at 30mph though !??

Maybe they just like the car... who could blame them ???
