...you bad sensor you!

OK so I'm back from France, I've rebuilt my laptop (stupid dead hard disc) and now my first post is not to display a picture of some excessively cute feral kittens but to ask how to clean the sensor...

Obviously I've gone over it with one of those puffy thingies after following the instructions for the 20D. Unfortunately I can see something that looks like water marks on the sensor and the exact same blemishes appear on shots regardless of which lense I use. Last thing I want to do is go at the sensor with some Windolene and a dish cloth so how do you clean a sensor? Is it a forgone conclusion to send it to a specialist?

Thanks for any pointers,

Andy

It was recommended to me and yes it is a hefty price for a brush and it took three weeks to get to me but it seems to work very well.

I have the brush that the AB uses but not the wee motor for twising it.
