So anyway - I'm going to look at a potential tomorrow - and all being well I hope to get around to finally buying a 996...

I figure to help sell mine, i'd get the paperwork out and take a photo for the advert, blatent plug: www.pistonheads.com/sales/81566.htm

Have you added up the total value of money spent?

If you stand away from the screen and squint a bit I am sure you can see the face of Christ in there somewhere hehe

No, I saw 2 invoices - 1 for about 520, another for 560 (albeit the two biggest services) and decided I really didnt want to know what its cost me!!!

The irony is - nothing has gone wrong with the car [touch wood], all the bills are regular services, perishables etc - but if i included tax and insurance costs, it probably comes to more than im asking for the car!

I don't think 'friends of the earth' are going to be impressed with your small copse of paper work ... But then ,they're probably not going to be interested in your car............. they cycle everywhere anyway.
