Just saw a Dark Red Chim.. having looked as though the driver had lost it coming off the roundabout on tha A4 from Theale.. damage to 3 sides I could see... Police had just arrived and an ambulance sped past... people and a couple of cars were standing around.

I hope everyone was OK..? The car seemed to take a bit of a beating.
Very Sad to see...

Point of interest to anyone perhaps new to driving a TVR.
The phrase coming off a roundabout occurs in many TVR reported accidents.

These cars are obviously strongly torqued, rear wheel drive sports cars- and these incidents can inevitably be the result of planting the right foot before the wheels are properly aligned- no matter what the weather.

Perhaps we should blame Sir Isaac Newton?

We all make mistakes, and I sympathise with the driver involved- but I stand by what I've posted

Could be, or perhaps spilt diesel on the roundabout? While it's worthwhile reminding ourselves of the perils of too much right foot occasionally, I don't think mentioning driver error on a thread about an accident on which you have little information is a particularly bright idea.....

I do see your point, posting my thread on another topic may have been more appropriate.

I just wanted to point out the recurrence of the term 'roundabout' when sad incidents like this are posted.
