Rubber cap on door next to window brush

My N/S rubber thing keeps falling off..... how do you stick them back on ...to stay on

what glue is it ??

I discovered (eventually) that the secret to success is to get a scalpel blade and fine tune the inner profile so that the window glass does not push against it (just rests against it), then rough up the inner face with sand paper and also score the surface with a knife to provide a good key for the silicon.
Then apply a copious amount of black silicon sealant to form a mortar bed to push the rubber into. with a soapy finger (doesnt stick to you then) wipe the excess away and then hold in place with duck tape over night.

I used an industrial strength contact adhesive on the drivers side. I was determined not to loose it... having already lost the passenger side

so add me to the list of people who need one!
