What is the point?

I have recently had enquiry from a client who asked for his 3200GT to be "converted" to an Assetto Corsa. This involved alot of phone calls and time wasting in clarifying the differences between the two cars. In the end i told the guy to buy an Assetto Corsa and save some money. He looked at me as though i was the crazy one??????? Is it me or am i missing the point?????

you can't win sometimes. If you had told him the conversion cost was £30K or whatever he'd have probably turned round and said I can buy one for less money than that. daa!
