T5 gearbox used in TVR's

[m_steenbrugge]

I was wondering if TVR has used Borg Warner T5 gearboxes on the Ford Cologne engine? If so, who has one for sale?

I'm currently upgrading a 2.9 Cosworth 24v engine to 4.0 and was wondering if I could find a T5 with matching bellhouwing to the cologne engine.

Are the T5 used on TVR's identical to the ones used on Sierra Cosworth?

I've got a spare Tuscan T5 gearbox that I might sell.

Make me an offer.

Cheers

John

No TVR haven't used the T5 with a cologne engine. The TVR T5 is not the same as a Cossie version. There are an awful lot of T5 varients out there BTW.
