I'm off to the breakers tomorrow for some "new" seats for my roadster. I had thought maybe mx5 seats would be about right ie nice and skinny but if anyone knows offhand of particular makes / models that have bucket style seats, with headrest, and max of 40cm wide at rear of seat base it might save me some hunting time at the breakers.

Much appreciated,

G.

Thanks mate! I'll have a hunt for a pair online.

Everything i measured at the breakers was too big, decided to bite the bullet and go for corbeau sportsman seats as cabin width in my car is only 38cm. Best price I can find is £150 odd each (ouch!) so some of the other mods i had planned for this quarter will have to wait. Current shortlist is...

Lowered steel floor pans for seats fabricated and fitted (£?)
Hood from Lang and Potter (£250)
New Corbeau Sportsman seats (£300)

Does anyone know of a high back bucket style seat with a max width of 38cm that comes in cheaper than the Corbeau Sportsman, in case I can't find the dai ones?

Thanks,

G

Smart car seats aren't bad and if you can find 'em so are Lotus Elise ones.

I will have 3 Intatrim Ranger seats going spare soon (I'm going a different way with my Aeon) - they're unused (save the mounting holes), and 360mm wide. They're black - if you're near Guildford, I can pop one 'round for you to have a look at.

Tribbles,

Mate I'd pay the postage if the price was right! Shoot me an email to let me know what you'd need £'wise for em and I'll find out the postage ASAP.

Sent email.

Note: I'm planning on going to the Donington show next weekend (Saturday) - if you're going, it could save on postage...

...just a short note of thanks to Tribbles for the Intatrim Ranger seats - delivered on the right day, well packaged, no payment hassles - everything perfect and the seats themselves are great - a good fit and much more comfort than the standard Marlin ones. Thanks again,

Wee G
