Recomended Power Steering Fluid

Is there a recommended power steering fluid?

Also - I looked in the reservoir over the weekend (a nice 600 mile weekend) and the fluid looks a little...well...oily...is this correct?

Dextron III i think it is, thats what i use and many people seem to say the same

You can buy it in halfords but do NOT get the one that is reccomended for Ford's.
