On a slightly more serious note, that's really sad. Steve Irwin had a unique way of dealing with wildlife. Unfortunately, his "up close and personal" approach has now got him killed.

Yes, 'tis sad but I have to say that the "Law of probability" must come into somewhere. If you put yourself in danger as many times as he did, you'll eventually loose.

I try hard not to laugh at that as this is really quite sad consisdering he had a wife and 2 kids, complelty freak accident though and all the more scary as I was 'chased' by one a couple of years ago! eek

Apparently he was swimming over the top of the ray when its tail came up and impacted his heart!

Depite the graphics a sad loss to the world let alone his family

Wasn't that last incident in St Kilda?

Last time I went to St Kilda, I saw lots of injecting, just not stingrays
