My Mondeo has got

-some surface rust along the sills and creeping into the (rear)wheelarches.
-bubbling along bottom edge of the drivers door

Got an appointment to take it to a local place recommended by a neighbour.
So, to treat the rust on sills+ rear arches and drivers door, rub it down and paint (metallic) can any of you kind gents give me a rough idea of the sort of cost I am looking at?

I am guessing £200/£300 , is this in the right sort of area?

The standard of work on my neighbours car was good. If this guy quotes me a decent price then I will just go for it but want to have an idea of a good price to save me the hassle of shopping around a load of bodyshops and stop this guy from prenteding to quote me "mates rates" but actually stiching me right up!

TIA

I'd have thought more for sills and 2 wings, I would guess £400 ish.

But depends how thoroughly they intend to do the job!

"WHAT SORT OF MONEY AM I LOOKING AT"

Depends on where you live... In the UK, you should be looking at Pound Sterling, most other places in Europe use the Euro. In the USA, I think they use the US Dollar and Australia they use the Australian Dollar.

Hope this is of some help

Local guy has quoted me £400. Sounds reasonable as he is going to have to do sills, rear arches on both sides and drivers door too. Booked it in. Thanks Oliver; I hope MaxiMillions blow over is a big expesive failure.
