On Saturday just gone(2nd sept) I had a studio booked for the day, arranged for some people to bring some cars along, and generally had a good/fun shoot. Had a couple of nightmares in the lead up to the shoot, and thought i might have bitten off more than i can chew in arranging 8 cars(expecting 1 possibly 2 last minute cancellations(none cancelled)), but the day passed and now comes the long task of choosing and editing some to show and use on my website.

Here is an initial single pic of each car, hope you agree that they have come out well.

James (non PH)

Pete (phoenix-pete)

Paul (custardkid)

Alex (alex s)

Richard (rviant)

Phil (pvj)

Greg (gbbird)

Graham (viper_larry)

A very big thank you to eachof the owners for helping me in this shoot, I had another 3 photographers for the day too, and each also pass on their thanks.

Nice...

Any plans to do some more shoots ? I'ld be up for bringing a car and also being one of the photographers.

Oh you'll have to get rid of the small marks on the floor under the fronts of the cars...

Some good photography but, in my honest opinion, some of those cars don't "suit" half naked chicks. An attractive woman in a short black cocktail dress would look much better with the Aston, for example.

(Oh and the last bird looks a bit crackwhore )

Yeah they're good from a photography angle, definitely thumbup Like the choice of blonde for the yellow Tiv, works well.

Just I'm not one for "Chicks n Motors", if you follow me As in picture content, not real life desires. Ahem

I know what you mean about girls and cars, sometimes it is a bit naff, girls and bikes seem to work a lot better.

Likewise, Bikes and Birds tend to be better than Chicks and cars...

Great pictures though. If you want a Caterham or few for the next shout let me know...would be keen to see if you can get a good shot of one/them.

I think to do a shot of a Caterham I would want to wait till i get a new wider angle lens, to really push the perspective distortion due to the longer front of the car.

I would however be more than interested in using one.

I don't think it's so much the "Chicks 'n' Cars" thing as the fact that those models are a bunch of fugly munters. Where on earth did you find them, hanging around the bins at the local council estate? If you were using a Barry'd up Fiesta they'd fit in great, but those cars with those women, they just don't go. You need some women that look a bit more "Footballers Wife" with those type of cars. (Sorry to sound like a complete bitch)

The pics of the cars are fantastic thoughthumbup

It appears every woman - no matter their beauty - thinks they can be a model so long as they're half dressed and infront of a car.

Scrap the 'models' (most of whom look like dog's dinners IMO) and stay with the cars, which you've shot brilliantly

I would not say the women are very attractive. The cars just look great on there own.
