fault code 26

just popped a code reader on the chim and got code 26
cant find anything out about the code

got any ideas?

Hope you get it sorted - what are the symptoms of your problem or were you just seeing what the reader gives

getting a crakking flatspot/ missfire at just under 3k revs in all gears

dropped a lambda sensor out - looks like its running weak - so the code 26 would make sense after reading that post - but looking in the tail pipes there is a lot of soot and looks like its running rich? sparkplug colour looks good!


just been out in it for a little run around after doing a ecu reset- no fault codes showing got the flat spot back after around 4 miles

I'm not an expert on this subject but I was told with unleaded fuel you can't tell about rich running from the colour of the exhaust pipes - its not like the old days when black was rich and white was lean - guess the plugs are a good guide
