Hi Folks,

The 2006 Chicago Ultima Gathering is just around the corner. You can help us streamline the agenda and have a more productive meeting by contributing to this thread...

Thanks!

Noticed on the link that your gathering will be looking in more detail at the specifics of the SBC vs LS7 installation and especially specific considerations for the LS7. I am very interested in following this as I will be installing an LS7 in a GTR, and would be grateful if you posted the updates on the PH forum.

Thanks
Greg

Hi Greg,

Yes, I hope we can spend some time discussing the options here. Luckily, there are a couple of builders that have installed LSx engines coming to Chicago...and one other LS7 build.

If all of the stars align, we may have a video CD of the meet. No doubt, there will be some valuable info presented for us LSx builders. At least, we'll have some posts with some of that info. If you have specific questions, don't hesitate to post them up, or email them to me and I will gladly add to the agenda.

What day is going to be best for technical information? Friday right?

I would recommend you bring a change of underwear if you plan on going for a ride with Jeff Schwartz. You'll need tissues and a quiet place to hide if you're just there for a look.

I hope that doesn't make it on to the video CD.

Probably Friday and Saturday. It's all good, though.

Cool. I am planning on being there friday all day. And then saturday at Jeff's shop. I can't really do the cruise. But I wanted to meet Jeff and see his shop. Also to get some technical knowledge on the LSx/G50 setups and meet some local (and not so local) builders.
