this weeks problem

was driving home last night after thinking my car had been running quiet all day, not the usual roughness or loud from cold, felt quiet and smooth, then after up to heat i tried accelerating and at around 3000rpm it coughed and spluttered and jolted around, and when i blipped the throttle it didnt want to rev up, then idled at around 2000rpm for a minute or two and was intermitant for about 10 mins, then drove the rest of the way home fine.

this morning on start up the car sounded fine and drove to work fine and if anyone has experienced this and know what it might be i'd be greatful to know,

i had something quite similar, though less severe than this. it's going in to london tvr on thursday fo investigation. it's going in for a leaking windscreen anyway, so i've asked them to take a look.

i'll let you know what the cause was.
