I take it yours has stopped working?

What about looking for a PCB repairer, see if they can help. It cant be that complicated inside?

Hi
I have still got a problem with my drivers door and the boot.
I have disconnected the battery and the door control box, no good!
I have replaced the door and window controller still the same.
When I press the mirror switch on the drivers door all I get is a wurring sound of the soleniod, the window drops on some occasions.
Could it be corrosion in the drivers door, if so why does the boot soleniod react the same way.
Any ideas would be good.
Thanks

I to have the same problem ('99 4.5)and same part number.

Assuming that you fixed this, did you replace the part (if so where from?) or did you have it fixed (if so where?).

Hope you can help.

Ive got the same problem on mine at the moment, after various phone calls i was told that if i sent the unit to tvr power (i think, made too many calls lol) they would send it back to the factory for some electrickery bloke to fix it, said should cost around £140 ish!!

So thats a control box needing fixed, new power steering pump and new seals fitted to the slave cylender....ohhh the Joys, never mind i know as soon as i drive it again all my worrys will vanish :P
