Daz Cossie Turbo - Insurance
Discussion
Can anyone help me out here.
Ive previously had a Westfield and now a 944, but want to get back into a 7 Type car very soon. The question is how much will the extra power in something like a Dax (200bhp+) increase the insurance premium over my last Kit a 1700cc Westfield xflow.
Im 28 and have a load of no claims bonuses but this doesn't seem to bother the kit car insurers they were more concerned about my experience of driving quick cars when I phoned up about the Westfield.
Any Dax owners care to share their current insurance quotes with me?
Thanks
Steve

go onto the www.wscc.co.uk snd search for a guy called scruffy. He has just built a Dax Cossie,so he may help you.
not that its really realavant. but after 6 months or so of my 2 liter ginneta being off the road (nowt wrong with it, just couldnt afford it!) i thought i'd put it back on the road. i tried ringing footmanjames on the tuesday after bank holiday, but obviously didnt get through. so i tried their website which quoted me £450!!! which was about £200 more than last time!!!!
then this morning out of the blue i get a phone call saying they misquoted me. and now its only £112 !!!

anyway for insurance try footman james, graham sykes or adrian flux. theyre the ones i can think of at the moment. pretty sure its just done mostly on engine size, i dont think turbos ect matter?
