Naming and shaming exceptions
Discussion
Now I know there a lot of people who we shouldn't name and shame, but there are some institutions that should be lambasted
Let me start
1. The government, in all guises from Shitehall all the way down to local councils, especially the ministry of transport
2. The media (especially sky it would seem
)
3. DVLA
Any more....

The Post Office
Notwork Rail (Formerly DeRailtrack)
Bus & Train Operators
The BBC
BAA Airports (Gatwick=Hell-on-Earth)
The entire civil service - in fact, don't bother naming & shaming. A firebomb followed by an airdrop of salt will suffice.
Oh and any company which rhymes with a well known computer seller.. poor old Wishing Well PLC..

The BBC
The BBC (current affairs department at any rate) is the vanguard of anti-right-wing, anti-car, pro-vegetable, politicaly correct, affirmative actioneering wooly minded stupidity & are responsible for letting Billy Liar's lot get away with murder.
OTOH that the BBC has no advertising on it is the unique selling point that keeps me coming back. I think if the BBC was abolished or commercialised, I'd sell my TV and ditch my radio.

3 weeks to deliver a "guaranteed" 48 hour parcel (video - ooer), which was then rammed through my letter box and smashed to bits.![]()

at least you got it! useless twats were supposed to beliver some computer equipment to me and it never arrived, phoned the supplier and had a rant, PF have got it, phoned PF
might as well have talked to the dog. eventually got Parcel no and attempted to track it on PF website
they had delivered it on the Thursday
i wasnt at home, Mrs m wasnt at home the dog was. had a barny with PF they were adamant that they had delivered
I explain that the only person at home was the dog, they wern't having any of it, i enquired what NSR meant on the website (no signature received????) they wouldnt tell me . e-mails and phone calls fired backwards and forwards between supplier and myself, eventually I manage to track down the Directors direct e-mail address
and let rip. director sorted it straight away - turns out Pf had turned up and got no reply so the driver left it outside the Porch
some lucky barsteward must have walked past and spotted nice plasma screen etc and nicked it.

Surprisingly moderate in your (be)rating of the Beeb old chap! You forgot Gruniad reading, sandalista, lentil crunching, beardywierdies.......... socialist pigs, and the trouble is they learnt this bumwarming at decent public schools FFS! What is happening to Britain???? Bring back hanging, caning, birching etc......
You haven't been watching much lately, have you CarZee.

Its now full of friggin adverts and worse still advertorials for BBC3, BBC4, BBCChoice and fcuk knows what other channels that are not available to the general populous without further expense.

dont forget the well known High street Electrical retailers - Home Delivery department and service/repair department that should seriously consider changing its name from M********* to WeDontCare

To me it seems difficult to be both 'anti right wing' and 'pro Blair' the terms 'right wing' and 'Blair' being virtually interchangable.
You've obviously not been watching much either, JC, or you'd know that BBC Choice has become BBC3 and hence the two do not co-exist

I know what you mean though, but at least we're spared adverts for products and services.. no ambulance chasers, loan sharks, nappy adverts, tampon wearing roller-skatists, zoom-zooming Mazdas, man-hating bints in Focuses and Puntos and whatever other shite they're stuffing in our face on the commercial channels..
Look.. just stop being a bloody pedant, okay?

Given, but Blair ingratiated himself by appointing his mates at the top of the BBC & I think he's given something of an easy ride.

And whilst Blair may be right-wing in some respects, I don't think you'll find right wingers running the economy, welfare and education where dreadful redistributive policies (including fiscal and 'rights') are evidence of the core of left-wingers running most of our internal affairs while Billy is out conquering the middle east.
