can any one tell me who makes u,joint 4 500, griff also if pos a part no, just adding that to my problem poss , solution manythanks again paul ps, also can some one tell me where to get hold off mounting bushes for the selector or doe,s that come under gearbox bushes

Try doing a search about the UJ's. I posted details a while ago including costs if memory serves me right.
BB is correct, the UJ's are different and the top one is bigger. Swapping them is not a particularly difficult job to do yourself and would happily advise if you fancy having a go.

thanks everyone for the help,i wrote everything down and gave it to my garage ,trying to help (GUESS WHAT) it was a missing gear selector mounting bracket bolt that,s it that was all it was, made a hell of a vibration you could feel it in the steering as well.had the car for 6 months now it myst have been just starting to go when i got, realy diferent car now you would not think that something so little could make that vibration so i was realy pleased with that being taken care of i asked him to change gear box oil. and diff oil the engine myself and went for a blast to orgmore just got back now nice drive brilliant in fact 3and a half hours magic thanks everyone again i am sure there will be more questions at alater date happy driving
