Could try power zone, which is in Burnley (well close to). Just up the road from my work (Junction 7 on the M65 is the quickest way there).

There the other half of Mini Sport (very well known Mini tuning company) which tunes normal (or not so normal cars as the case may be).

www.minisport.com/ is Minisports website, they share the same phone number so use the one on the website.

PS. They have just done a cracking job on rebuild a work colleagues Classic Lotus Elan.

Edit 'cause my proof reading is ermm bad

Completely irrelevant, Richard; just thought I'd express my appreciation of that photo on your profile.

Two quite scrumptiously coloured motors, looking beautifully prepared and ready to rip up the Trough of Bowland!

(That sonic blue really embedds nicely in the psysche for the Scoob. Stonkers both! Hurrah!)

Don't know if they're still going, but in the past I've used Paul Gardner based near Forton and who seemed to get all his tuning work word of mouth, and Ian Harrison based in either Bury or Bolton (too far back to remember!) and who used to advertise in Motoring News. Unfortunately no longer have any numbers. Can any other PHers help?

Edited to add that I agree with Derestrictor's comment re. photo.

8ball: seen them on the net the other day, but just wanted to know if anybody else would recommend them - think I'll give them a call.

derestrictor: thanks, unfortunatley the scooby has just gone to be replaced by ... a clio diesel! Decided I could spend the money on other things now I have the Lotus
