Over the past few days my idle has got very lumpy. Car starts, runs, goes when asked. I'm guessing it's a thottle position sensor or something?

Its only a few hundred miles out of service BTW, obviously fine when I collected it.

Comments?

Things to check would be if it is ildling low? otherwise could be as you said or badly set on the ecu.

Not idling low, just very lumpy.

What's the best way to reset the ECU on these cars without breaking your back in the footwell. It used to be much simpler on the Chimaera. Disconnecting the battery seems just as hard ... guess its a footwell dive this evening...

Take it back to dealer mate. Could be ecu fault or as on mine the air-con kicking in by itself!
either way get them to adjust the idle position.

Thanks.

Its going back to the dealer for a short visit next Thursday. They're going to plug it in and see whats up and do a quick throttle adjustment while I wait if necessary. It's not the idle speed - I could fiddle that myself easy enough.

Did you have new throttle pots recently ?? i.e. is this the second time they have gone ??

I have had these problems after replacing them and the dealer suggested they may have gone again??

Nope, first time I've had a problem like this. It started 100 or so miles after service though so they were fiddled with during tuneup. My dealer said they hardly ever go on the Speed Six. I know of others that have though.

Doh! - untill reading this i thought that when others were refering to throttle pots, I though that some form of POT needed replacing in the throttle assembly!
