Anyone got a contact for the convoluted hose supplying 'fresh' air, Body off is starting to get expensive, so many items I just can't justify not changing

I'd put some form of gauze over it at some point so if you do open them up, you don't get a face full of dead insects/leaves etc etc thrown at you..

I've used corrugated aluminium hose, but this doesn't cope well with the constant flexing caused by opening the bonnet. It's also a pain having to connect and disconnect the ducts every time the bonnet comes off (which is quite frequent for me). In the end I just cut the hoses short and strapped them under the chassis by the bonnet hinges. Not pretty, but it avoids a lot of faffing about. It also frees up space in the front grill and around the sides of the radiator for the oil cooler, air intake hose/filter and cold air box.

Try RS - that's where I goy mine from. They do all sorts of differnt ducting hose and in small rolls. The one I chose was a grey PVC with a plastic spiral support in it. Most of them have a metal wire spiral which seems a bit OTT. Its been fine for the last few years and does not crush like the original black plastic stuff.
