I'm trying to get a web-site www.payroll-services-uk.com on dmoz.

I submitted it to an appropriate category in April, and the category has an author, but it's not been added as of yet.

I'm sure the answers that there's probably nothing that I can do, but it's worth asking. Is that needs changing on the site?

Thanks.

One workaround is to get yourself registered on there as reviewer and add your own website. It's frowned upon, but it happens a lot.

When you apply as an editor you are supposed to recommend 5 sites for the category you are applying to, but you are supposed to have no connection with any of the sites

You could try submitting your site, waiting a day and then sending a polite email to the editor requesting that they are so kind as to review your site. Surprisingly I've heard this to work on several occasions, especially for very popular categories.

I've been waiting forever to get my site added, I'm guessing some of the categories are not particularly well monitored...

Just gone back and seen the category no longer has an editor.

Think I'll suggest the busines owner applies to be the editor, I know nothing about payroll....

My last business dominated google thanks to dmoz, and did very well because of it.

Thanks for your comments everyone.
