I would have a go at this myself, but I'm unlikely to be near a computer with Photoshop on it for some days and I have a thought in my head and am impatient! (and some chap asked the other day with stripes on his Fiesta and got loads of help!!)

I have a car. It looks like this . Having seen a few examples in the flesh, I am seriously considering having the wheels painted to the same colour as the car. I reckon it would look meaner and more unique.

Of course it would be nice to know what it looks like first.

Anyone bored and fancy a task?

Thanks

Ben

Thanks Mrs.F! I can see I don't like it

I think the difference is I've only seen it done before with the Sport Design wheels (ie. loads of spokes) and as my wheels only have a few, it looks totally different, and sadly "not right".

Oh well, at least I know to not consider it anymore! hehe

It's true that it takes a certain degree of exquisite taste to fully appreciate the black-with-black-wheels Porsche experience. There can be only one.

((although I do see that your car isn't actually black, is it))

Well there is the fact that it's grey rather than black, but looking at yours, the wheels are different so it works.

I just think that the wheels I have just aren't right when painted. Sadly

Why not use the 911 configurator on the Porsche site? You can opt for the body-coloured wheels and see what they look like

Why not go for a more "magnesium subdued" instead of a direct colour match?

A crude attempt from a PS novice but what about gold?
